JSPM's Rajarshi Shahu College of Education, Tathawade Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a library facility for all students. spread over, situated at the front of the building. It is also very peaceful and luminescent. The library has developed an excellent collection which has more than 7412 Books & 06 Print Journals. The library has also developed non-hook collection which includes compact discs. Besides this, it also maintains a separate collection of reference books and bound volumes of journals. The entire collection has been classified according to the Dewey decimal classification (DDC) system.

The library has open access, i.e., the students are allowed to enter the book stack and choose. The students can also make use of the reading room facility, which has a seating capacity of around 60 students. RSCOED Knowledge Resource Centre uses KOHA Library Management Software, along with Barcode technology. 

The college has a canteen situated within the college campus. It is open for all and there is a separate seating arrangement for Staff and students. All types of snacks, soft drinks, and meals are available at subsidized rates. Mess is available for all here. The canteen opens from 7 am up to 9.30 pm every day.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a sports ground that houses a number of outdoor game facilities like Football, Cricket, and Volleyball, a Gym for Girls and Boys, a Lawn Tennis Court, and a basketball court.

The College offers hostel accommodation for girls and is located on the campus. Hostel fee is based on three-seater rooms or two-seater rooms, including electricity charges. The hostel is provided with one common kitchen cum mess unit for girl students. Every member of the hostel is provided with basic amenities like a cot, table, chair, ceiling fan, and cupboard. Each hostel is equipped with a solar water heating system. Common room facilities with Cable TV and telephone are available in the hostel building. High-speed Wi-Fi Internet connectivity is available within the hostel premises. We have a canteen facility also within the hostel premises. Along with all these facilities, strict security is provided 24*7. All attempts are made to provide hostel accommodation to as many students as possible.

The college has a Training and placement facility. The motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
