Kaptipada College, Nuasahi Facilities
- Library
The college has a library facility with a total number of books of 62,356. Reading Room available for Students and Teachers during Office Hours. Students are encouraged to make use of the reference section and periodicals, which cannot be taken out of the Library. Students are allowed to borrow two books at a time and are advised to return the same on due dates failing which they have imposed a penalty. Departments have their own Seminar Library with Text and Relevant Books borrowed from the Central Library for use by the students at the respective departments.
- Laboratories
The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.
- I.T Infrastructure
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility with a total number of 8 P.Cs and 1 Printer. All the Computers in this centre have a P-3/P-4 processor, 4- 40 GB Hard Disk and 128 MB RAM. The operating system is Windows 98. The College has already approached UGC for a Computer Centre and one NetWork Resource Centre. The proposal of the College is under active consideration of UGC.
- Sports
The college has sports facilities are available for Cricket, Badminton, Hockey, Volley Ball, and Basket Ball. There is a big playground of size 210m x 150m. The college has a regular qualified PET to take care of sports activities. All programs are carried out through the Athletic Club of the college. The college provides a sports kit and daily allowance to each participant taking part in different state-level and inter-college competitions. Outstanding sports personalities are honored every year with Prizes, Medals, and Certificates by the college. The athletes and sports persons of this college have earned recognition for their outstanding achievements in various fields over the years.
- Boys Hostel
The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
- Girls Hostel
The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
