The college has two hostels – Uday (Netravati) hostel and Pioneer (Aghanashini) hostel – for boys. Both the Boys’ hostels are established in the year 1960. Old Boys Hostel of Karnatak Arts College was near Dharwad Railway Station and the boys were accommodated in the railway Quarters. It was started in the late forties and was called ‘Old Boys Hostel’. The Uday (Netravati) hostel has a total of 73 rooms and the present student strength in the hostel is 230.
The College has provided the Old Ladies Hostel of Karnatak Arts College near the Dharwad Railway Station and the girls were accommodated in the railway Quarters. In 1960, Mrs. Durgabai Deshmukh wife of Mr. C. D. Deshmukh, Finance Minister in the Central Cabinet then, laid the foundation of the proposed ladies' hostel.
The College has its own Health Centre situated near the Geography building. It looks after the health and medical needs of students and staff. It has a qualified doctor and diagnostic laboratory with advanced medical equipment. It functions from 8 am to 12 noon and 4 pm to 6 pm on all working days. Specialized medical officers will visit the health center periodically. Students and the staff are provided with free medical check-ups and medicine.
The Padmashri Gokak library started functioning on 20-06-1917 from the very day the Karnataka College came into existence. The library exists in a three-storied independent building with a large, spacious well-ventilated reading room. Being the oldest library in this part of the country, it has a large and valuable collection of books that exceed a lakh in number. About 2000 titles are being added every year and about 60 periodicals are subscribed to. There is a seating arrangement for about 200 students.
The College Provides Sports facilities like volleys Balls and baskets Ball Cricket Hockey Football.
The College Provides For the purpose of this Gymkhana and its various activities, the two colleges of the University –Karnatak Arts College and Karnatak Science College shall be regarded as separate units managed by the respective colleges. This revised Constitution shall come into effect from the Academic Year 1980-81.
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
The college has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.
This Branch having more than ten Thousand customer base and providing all types of banking and financial services to customers. It provides banking services such as cash transactions, Electronic Fund Transfer, Demand Draft, Digital Banking, ATM Services, all types of Retail, and MSME loans.
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
The college has good networking for the alumni association.
The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.
The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.
The college has a Workshop facility for students.
The college has Motive for the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.

B.com stands for understanding the concepts in accounting , business law , economics , taxation , insurance and management. It is a three year undergraduate programme in the field of commerce. Now , come to your query see there is no entrance test for this course. Usually the admission is based on merit. Mostly the admission is done on the basis of academic performances and some times universities also take interview and other screening process also. We are unable to find the complete information in your question like from what you are talking about. Still doing BA from a government college is more beneficial to you , you need to pay around 3K to 10K per year and if you choose some other private college then it will cost you high, between 60K to 3 lacks per year according to the facility, prospectus, infrastructure and placement. So it will be more better if you complete your BA program from a government college.
