The College has a health center is present on the college campus, where students are counseled and treated free of cost. It has a qualified doctor (Health Officer) and a clinical laboratory. Every Monday, a lady doctor visits the health center of the college to give medical aid to ladies. The health center is kept open on all working days, from 8 am up to 12 noon in the morning, and from 4 pm up to 6 pm in the evenings. The college authorities take the help of locally available doctors, including psychiatrists, to counsel the needy students.

The College has a well-equipped and well-managed library is the foundation of the modern educational structure. The importance of the library in education can be appreciated properly and precisely only if we try to understand the changing concepts of education. Today, education bereft of library service is like a body without a soul. Education and library service are twin sisters and one cannot live apart from the other. The Karnataka College library has been catering to this thirst for knowledge by the users of Karnatak College since its inception. In the beginning, the library was housed in the main Arts College building. Later, in 1977, the library was shifted to its present abode. The College library was known as the Central Library till 1991.

The college has cultural Activities and is one of the important departments of Karnatak Science College Gymkhana, Dharwad. Cultural activities include various performing and non-performing arts which are unique and nurture the talent of the students. It is the cultural hub for the faculty and students of our prestigious, century-old Institute. Karnataka Science College, Dharwad is not just an institute for home learning and knowledge; it also has a significant number of musicians, artists, and sports persons who have represented themselves and the Institute at various levels. The Gymkhana provides all possible facilities, infrastructure, and support so that students can pursue extracurricular activities along with their academic work.
