    Karnataka College of Nursing is located in Bangalore which was started in 2003 serves as one of the best nursing colleges and provides qualitative education. This co-educational institutes is situated in 33/2 Thirumenahalli, Hegde Nagar Main Road, Jakkur Post, Yelahanka Hobli, Bengaluru and has area of 2 acre. Affiliated with the INC – Indian Nursing Council, the college offers a wide course structure and have 3 degree courses and 8 programmes. The college takes a total of 333 students and faculty strength of 30 teachers thus retain a student-teacher ratio of 11: 1 that facilitate more teacher interaction and quality education to the students.

    Facilities useful and instrumental in improving learning environment and general health of the students have been provided at Karnataka College of Nursing. The library, which forms the basis of most academic institutions, is 100% computerised with the E-library including HELINET facility to making students realise variety of nursing literature and research information they have easy access to. In practical teaching skills, the college provides well equipped laboratory which includes simulation units and manikins so as to allow the nurses to get real practical experience which is essential in college, which is affiliated by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.

    Karnataka College of Nursing is designed to provide a number of nursing courses to cover different opportunities within the healthcare profession. The institute offers 8 full time programmes in various levels of nursing. These are undergraduate courses such as B.Sc Nursing (60) and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (30) and Master’s degrees in areas such as Psychiatric Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing and Paediatric Nursing, all with a maximum of 5 students per course. In addition, the college stated two hundred forty-five (245) state quota seats and forty (40) under self finance for General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course.
