Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore which is widely known as KCE Coimbatore as well was established in the year 2000. KCE courses are offered at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in the BE/ B.Tech, ME, MBA, MCA, Ph.D degree courses with further specialisations in the fields of Architecture & Engineering, Management & Business Administration and Computer Application & IT. KCE admissions are granted on the basis of entrance exam followed by counselling. The entrance exams accepted by the institute are TNEA for admissions to UG courses and the TANCET for admissions to PG courses, as for admissions to Ph.D doctoral a written test is conducted by Anna university followed by a personal interview. According to the data, over 690 students were placed in the KCE placements 2022 with Rs 4,20,000 per annum offered as the KCE median salary package.

AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls	Amount of scholarship that is a tuition fee of Rs. 30,000 or at actual, whichever is less and Rs. 2,000 per month for 10 months as incidentals each year.	This scholarship is for girl candidates who have taken admission to the diploma/degree course at AICTE approved institution/college. The annual income of the family should not be more than Rs.8 Lakhs. Up to two girls per family can apply for the scholarship.
