The atmosphere is serene and pleasing. It is run by the K.C Educational Society registered under the Societies Act. The college is recognized by the Jammu and Kashmir Government vide letter No HE/Recog/KC/2001/dated 12-7-2002 and affiliated with the University of Jammu.
