To take admission in PG courses candidates need to be a graduate in the stream concerned. A candidate who has passed the 3-year degree course (under the 10+2+3 pattern) is eligible for admission to the master's degree course. For admission to postgraduate courses candidates who do not fall under the above category/who require recognition of the qualifying examinations passed by them in other Universities or Bodies should produce an eligibility certificate obtained from the Registrar, University of Madras.
