Khalsa College for Women is one of the renowned women’s institution having its present in Ludhiana, Punjab, India established in the year 1958.. Located over a 14 acre area it has 24 courses across 12 degree programmes with a total strength of students as 3719. Currently the college has a total of 54 faculty members so student faculty ratio is still relatively good. Recognised by National Assessment and Accreditation Council NAAC, Khalsa college for women is an affiliated college and has been providing quality education to its student for more than six decades.
Khalsa College for Women also has various facilities which complements the learning process and has all round facilities for the college. It has a rich library with over 60,000 books, twenty journals and accesses modern digital resources of its campus. Currently students study in 29 laboratories; there are computer laboratories equipped with Internet-connected systems, as well as licensed software. The college therefore supports 20 different games for the holistic development of its students and many students have produced medals at various award of tourneys.

The campus infrastructure is quite old and needs renovation. The buildings, lecture halls and laboratories need to be painted. The labs have less equipment as compared to the equipment required. Many benches are also broken. The playground and auditorium are good.

There is no official announcement yet which is provided by the college so far. but I guess you have to wait for some more time until any official announcement that UGC release on the basis of which college will release their own guidelines or information regarding the admissions for the new batches in colleges.
