Kharupetia College, Darrang, came into existence in the year 1981 as an affiliated college at Guwahati in Assam. The compact campus of 0.41825 acres has a great variety of courses at the undergraduate level. Kharupetia College has a total number of 3,542 students enroled, while the strength of faculties is 53, resulting in a good learning environment. The institute is NAAC-accredited and has 12 courses over 3 degrees.

Kharupetia College has sufficient facilities to provide help to the students in their college life and other academic purposes.
