The KLE Society’s Institute of Nursing Sciences Hubli, was started in year 2003, the college is part of KLE society for nursing education located in Vidya Nagar, Hubli, Karnataka. This institute is a co-educational college, recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and providing the vast spectrum of nursing courses. The total intake of students at MIMT institute is 270 Meanwhile the faculties working in the institute are 17 in number that provide a personalised and an effective learning atmosphere for the students in the healthcare field. It teaches and trains 8 courses at 3 degree levels in general nursing, specialised nursing fields, and postgraduate level.
The institute consists of various facilities aimed at the improvement of learning environment as well as the personal growth of its learners. The campus consists of separate hostels for boys and girls with all necessary facilities to provide comfort accommodation. These hostels are equipped with neat, clean, and well-arranged mess; kitchens are very big with backup power facilities for continuous power supply. Library really stands out, and contains more than thousand books which include textbooks, general knowledge books, and other books that can help students in their personality development. It also offers over 300 of Nursing/Medical e-journals and e-books through HELINET Consortium membership. In matters concerning physical fitness and recreation, that college has the provision of both indoor and outdoor facilities for sports, play, among them a large playground meant for the playing of holding of athletic events. The campus has other facilities that include a health center, it equipment, canteen and practical laboratory.
The Institute of Nursing Science at KLE Society, an affiliated College of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, provides a number of Nursing programmes based on educational age and choice. Currently, the institute offers eight full-time courses, and these are the under graduate and post graduate programmes as well as the diploma courses.
