KLR Pharmacy College, well-known institution was started in the year 2003, located at Khammam, District of Telangana State. PCI approved this affiliated college is one of the pioneers of providing pharmacy education establishing its presence near about two decades. Concentrated in a small territory of 2.5 acres, KLR Pharmacy College provides its 407 students with various pharmaceutical courses. The college has 43 faculty members, all of whom are prudent and dedicated professionals to keep a good student-to-faculty ratio. KLR Pharmacy College offers 7 different courses in 3 degrees, that is why students receive an individual focused education in chosen field of pharmacy.

This college holds the discovery of a favorable learning environment for the students as one of its key objectives. The facilities provided to the students at KLR Pharmacy College also entitle them comprehensive academic and personal development. It comprises of well-equipped laboratories as part of practical training in pharmaceutical sciences. It offers 7 internal courses at different levels of study: full-time. The college at the undergraduate level offers a course in Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) of 100 seats to provide a basic framework for the pharma industries. For those who want to be even more specialized, the college has 15 seats for all its Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharma) courses – Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, Drug Regulatory Affairs, Industrial Pharmacy and many more. Another program is the six-year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) program, which 30 students are admitted to each year to cater for students, who wish to take a clinical patient career in pharmacy. With an overall approved enrolment capacity of 407 students, the college has been playing a great role in boosting pharmacy education in its region.

To this end, admission process of KLR Pharmacy College involves successive screening and selection of competent and enthusiastic students for its various courses. And for the B.Pharma and the Pharm.D courses the admission is given according to the candidate’s ranking in the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) normally. This examinations measures candidates performance in some relevant subjects to check on their competency to embark on Pharmaceutical studies. As for the M.Pharma, the college takes into account exams undertaken in the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET).
