Krishnasamy Memorial Polytechnic College (KMPTC) was started in 1997, It is an affiliated college in cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. Sanctioned by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), this institution provides the students with diploma programmes in several fields in engineering. Located on a 17.01-acre campus, KMPTC have a total student strength of 626 sustained by faculties of 42 members. The college offers six diploma courses in numerous streams of engineering to meet the requirement of various technician and engineering applicants.

The institute has spacious and well-equipped multi-media computer labs, science labs, fully equipped language and motor skill development play areas, music rooms, music studios, and drama and arts rooms that have been adopted with modern architectural designs to improve the learning of the students. The college library is well stocked with about 12,000 books of various fields of engineering, along with a large number of journals and magazines.  For any of the students who are interested in staying in the school compound, KMPTC has two different hostels, one for the male students and the other for the female students, with each of them having a maximum of one hundred seated capacities. These hostels afford the inhabitants a relaxed living condition through services such as reading rooms and others. Sports lovers will be able to utilise both indoor and outdoor games facilities: shuttle, badminton, table tennis, basketball, football, volleyball, and cricket. The college also has a strong information technology capability in serving modern forms of learning practices.

KMPTC has six diploma courses offered at the institute and all the courses are full-time courses. The offered courses cover many branches of engineering, so learners are free to select a number of disciplines they are interested in. The courses are Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Civil, Auto Mobile, Electronics and Communication, and Computer Engineering.
