Kumbi College, Kumbi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a library facility for all students. It is located in a separate block constructed with UGC assistance during the XI plan period, containing books and other documentation facilities. The number of volumes at present is about 5,000 and more books are being added every year. In addition to text and reference books, journals and periodicals are also subscribed.

The college has sports facilities for all students. The college has an Indoor Stadium and a well-equipped mini gym. The stadium was constructed with financial aid from the UGC during the 12th plan period. Our students participated in various national-level games and sports tournaments representing Manipur University.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. The College has a well-equipped science laboratory.

The college has a Gym facility for the students. The College has a well-equipped mini gym.

The College was founded in 1981, and the ‘Kumbi College Alumni Association’ was only inaugurated in 2005 in the presence of our respected Chairman, Kh.Chaoba Singh. All the graduates from this College are members of this association.

The College has a Women’s hostel for the girl students hailing from remote villages. It is constructed with financial assistance from the UGC during the XII plan period. The 16-bed hostels will be inaugurated shortly.

The college provides Xerox at a concessional rate.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.

The college has a health center with a student first aid facility.

The college also provides Training and Placement opportunities for all the students.
