The college was established in 2015. KVGINS, Sullia is a private university affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. The college offers various types of courses to the students in the nursing field. Courses are offered at Diploma and undergraduate level. KVGINS, Sullia Diploma courses include General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). It is a three-year full-time diploma program approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). KVGINS, Sullia UG courses include B.Sc Nursing. 

All the courses are offered in full time mode only. KVGINS, Sullia admissions to both diploma and UG programs are offered to candidates who have passed class 12th from a recognised board with science stream. Also the student should be medically fit.
