    Being an affiliated college, Late Khatija College of Education, Wada, was started in 2009 in Mumbra, Maharashtra. This is an NCTE recognised institution that focuses on teacher education. It is a compact campus of 1 acres providing a specific learning environment for those willing to become teachers. The college total of 200 students and has 14 faculty members which guarantees the successful combination of efforts in providing the students with ideal learning environment and extraordinary educational experience improved with the notion of profession in the sphere of education that Late Khatija College of Education offers. 

    Late Khatija College of Education has various amenities meant to foster a better understanding environment for the student. A fully computerised library that has recently gone online with ILMS or  Integrated Library Management System and e-granthalaya software caters to the needs of the faculty as well as the students. An indispensable condition for future educators, language is being improved through the establishment of a language laboratory in the institution. In reference to health, there is the provision of sporting facilities and gym for the college students. The campus possesses a well-developed IT arrangement; there are 80 computer sets, 7 multifunctional printers, and 7 classrooms with projector facilities. Accommodation for students and staff, sports, hygiene, food, cleaning, first aid and transport services are some of the health facilities that complete the list of services provided at college, affiliated to University of Mumbai.

    Late Khatija College of Education offers one full-time course, B.Ed or Bachelor of Education. This two year degree programme has an approved enrolment capacity of one hundred students to maintain quality education with a good students-teacher ratio. B.Ed course curriculum is aimed at preparing effective future teachers by providing them with sets of skills needed in teaching profession.
