B.Ed at Late Khatija College of Education, Wada Offline Course

1. Educational Qualification:

o Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, or an equivalent qualification from arecognized university.

o Alternatively, a Master's degree from a recognized university is also acceptable.

o Candidates holding a B.E./B. Tech degree holders are eligible to apply.

2. Minimum Marks in Qualifying Examination:

o General Category: A minimum aggregate score of 50% in the Bachelor's or Master's degree.

o Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC/VJ-NT/SBC of Maharashtra): A minimum aggregate score of 45% in the Bachelor's or Master's degree.

o B.E./B.Tech Candidates: A minimum aggregate score of 55% in their respective degree.

3. Entrance Examination:

o A valid and qualifying score in the Maharashtra B.Ed Common Entrance Test (MAH B.Ed CET) conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, is mandatory.

4. Additional Requirements:

o Candidates who have obtained their qualifying degree from a university other than the University of Mumbai are required to procure an Eligibility Certificate from the University of Mumbai before admission.

o Applicants whose degree utilizes a CGPI or grading system must submit a conversion certificate from the issuing institution, clearly indicating the equivalent percentage of marks.

o Participation in the centralized counseling process conducted by the relevant authorities post the MAH B.Ed CET is a prerequisite for seat allocation at Late Khatija College of Education.

5. Age Limit:

o There is no stipulated upper age limit for admission to the B.Ed program. However, candidates are generally expected to be at least 19 years of age at the time of admission.
