The LR Institute of Legal Studies Solan, Himachal Pradesh, launched in the year 2004, has been imparting quality level legal education to students who have completed their 10+2 education. This institute has been developed under the Lala Lilu Ram Educational Trust. The LR Institute of Legal Studies Solan courses have a 5-year duration and are governed by the statutes offered by Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. The institute uses scientific teaching methods by not leaving out the clinical aspects of legal education. The LR Institute of Legal Studies Solan admissions was also the first to take place in the state which started the B.A. LL.B. (Hons) course.
