About Ludhiana College of Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana

LCET is one of the Ludhiana based colleges for engineering established in the year 2002 to cater the need of technical education in Punjab. Located in the Ludhiana-Chandigarh Highway B.A.M is an affiliated college spread over an area of 11 acres of land. LCET is affiliated to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which means it upholds quality in civil, mechanical and other engineering as well as managerial science fields. At the end, the institute provides 10 courses for a total of 446 students. At Present LCET comprises of a team of 11 dedicated faculty members and the college believes in achieving an ideal faculty student ratio; so as to foster a kind of environment that is most suitable for the acquisition of knowledge.

Accommodation is made more comfortable by the numerous well equipped facilities that are present in the college. Regularly updated smart classrooms equipped with modern state-of-the-art Audio & Video facilities, are air-conditioned to keep students comfortable. It has well equipped laboratories to support manual learning as well as practical training within the campus facility. LCET is endowed with a reference library serving a collection of more than 30000 books and reference volumes along with DELNET [Developing Library Network] for codex to a large number of journals. Currently, the whole compound is supplied with Wi-Fi enabling the learners to connect to the internet discreetly. For a comprehensive development of the students, LCET has proper grounds and equipment for games and indoor games, sports and field days.

LCET provides all integrated full time courses like B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering ,Automobile Engineering , Electronics and Communication Engineering. At postgraduate level, the college offers M. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering, M.B.A and M.C.A. The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering alone has an intake capacity of 60 while Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering each having an intake capacity of 30. 

LCET has very simplified admission process in order to make it easy for the students to get admitted in the institution.
