Madha Medical College and Research Institute is an authorised medical college set up in 2011 at kovur, Chennai city. This co-educational affiliated college, recognised by the NMC, provides a wide variety of medical courses for the students. Occupying a large space of thirty acres the institute has a total strength of 304 students and has one hundred and nine members of the faculty. 50 11 credit courses are offered by the college for 3 courses in different medical disciplines under MBBS, MS, MD programmes.
To achieve them, the institute aims at offering optimal facilities to improve the learning outcomes of its learners. Well furnished Boys & Girls Hostels help to provide comfortable accommodation for the out-station students, if they want to stay in the college premises. This college has health centre that comprised of first aid, this health centre is responsible for providing medical services for the college community. As for physical fitness freaks, there’s a new gym in existence for them. Institute has their library where plenty of medical literature and research resources are available. Sports facilities are to be laid down in order to enhance the physical education amongst students. The college has got very good IT services that enhance online learning and teaching. There are a cafeteria for food requirements of students and staff along with an auditorium for events and seminars. The institute also offers transport facilities for those students and staff who travel from one place to another.
