Mahajubilee Training College of teacher education is situated at Mulloorkara, Thrissur, Kerala and is one of the most reputed institutions in the state. Mahajubilee Training College is located on 7 acres of land; the college has only two professional courses in education for one hundred students with eleven faculties. Other facilities include an auditorium for assemblies, seminars etc, a play and sports grounds for physical exercises, a cafeteria for client’s foods and drinks, and a health centre with first aid services for health issues all in the college compound.
Mahajubilee Training College has only two full time courses related to education for both bachelor’s and masters degree. The award of both courses is divided into equal two years, so that the students gain all theoretical and practical knowledge concerning education. The fact that the college offers only two specialised programmes enable the college to channel a lot of resources in preparing competent teachers to penetrate the education sector.
