Mahalaxmi Institute of Management and Technology (MIMT) was set up in 2015 and is a fledgling college situated in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. An affiliated college to the university, recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE is located in a comparatively small 3-acre land. MIMT enrols a total of 11 students for its single and only postgraduate programme , the MBA. The institute has a faculty of 14 members but a slightly low student faculty ratio.

Mahalaxmi Institute of Management and Technology boasts several sophisticated structures that facilitate learning for the students. A promising aspect of MIMT is an IT service where there are several computer laboratories with chiefly beneficial modern software. As of today, the campus has Wi-Fi, which enables students and staff to have easier access to high-speed broadband internet. As a part of the intellectual resource of the institute, the library consists of more than 3657 books, different magazines, international journals, and newspapers. It is of particular use both to faculty and students, as it provides access to the vast databases necessary for various works and projects.

MIMT at the moment only has one programme on offer, which is the full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme. This two-year programme has an approved enrolment of 120 seats, and it clearly indicates that the institute is incorporating quality education in the field of management. The design of the MBA course at MIMT is such that it is capable of providing students a taste of the corporate world with strong emphasis on both the theoretical concepts and the practical skills. 

Admissions into MIMT involve a set of competitive criteria and recognise most of the national entrance examinations.
