Management and Technology Institute of Mahalaxmi (MIMT), Meerut is a latest institute in Uttar Pradesh aimed to have management education. It is established and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) along with carrying out a competitive and comprehensive admission process for Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.  MIMT admission process selects aptitude-deserving candidate through various national entrance examinations. That is because the institution considers scores from various significant management entrance tests such as CAT (Common Admission Test), XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test), CMAT (Common Management Admission Test), MAT (Management Aptitude Test), and ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions). 

The minimum eligibility criterion for an admission to an MBA course in MIMT is that candidates ought to have completed graduation from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks. This means that candidates should maintain a good academic background before admission to the management program.

Application Process

The above application process for admission into MBA programs with Mahalaxmi Institute of Management and Technology, Meerut involving generally consists of the following fundamental steps:

1. Entrance Exam Registration: Candidates should register against the institution's entrance examination schedule to appear for one of the accepted entrance examinations (CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, or ATMA).

2. Application to the Institute: After receiving their entrance exam scores, they need to apply for admissions into MIMT. The application will be made available through either the webpage of the institute or through an admission portal devised for this purpose.

3. Document Submission: Along with the application, candidates are supposed to attach the following documents:

9. Commencement of classes after Orientation: Successfully admitted students will be invited to the orientation programs and will carry on with the commencement of classes according to the academic calendar.

Degree wise Admission Process 

MBA-course-MIMT offers a full-time, 2 years MBA course sanctioned for an intake of 120 seats. The admission procedure for the MBA is highlighted as follows:

1. Entrance Exam: The candidates need to qualify for any one of the accepted national-level entrance tests, namely CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, or ATMA.
2. Score Evaluation: Students are shortlisted on the basis of the score in these entrance tests.
3. GD and PI: The shortlisted candidates are required to appear for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
4. Final Selection: Final selection would be based on the score in the entrance exam, GD, and PI. MIMT MBA provides several functions for students in business life.
