Maharaja Agrasen College, University of Delhi built on 10 acres land has a good infrastructure as compared to other colleges under Delhi University. It has WiFi facility in the library and also a reading room, equipped with wifi, for students who want to spend their time learning. The college also has a room specially for girls where they can relax or spend their time. The college has a girls' hostel. They campus is clean and well maintained. The college has the best auditorium.
I am a B.Com (Hons) student currently in 3rd year. Since I had interest in commerce so I decided to pursue the same. The faculty is good except one or two. Sometimes some teachers cancel classes at the last moment. This creates a problem for the students coming from long distances. But if you get the good ones then this problem rarely occur. The problem is with the students. The class strength actively taking classes is verly low (around 20%) because most of them are pursuing additional courses.
This college has two placement cells. One is for the the students of the whole college and the other providing placement opportunities exclusively to the commerce students. Both the cells offer internships, placement opportunities and conduct workshops. The average placement package was around ₹327000. The highest package was ₹700,000.
My course's first year fees was nearly ₹13000, 2nd year fees was nearly ₹15000 and third year fees is close to ₹16000. I think the college is worth it... It's not charging too much from the students and moreover, students having family income less that ₹200000 can apply for student aid of the college.
This college has a number of societies that the students can engage in accordance with their interests. The teachers are supportive and friendly. The college has a really nice and safe location and even has parking facility outside the college. It can handle emergencies very well.
The students of this college are of a humble personality. The administration of this college is not so good. Everything is announced at the end moment. The communication channel is slow and also sometimes their website doesn't show latest notices essential for the students. It is a safe campus and ragging is strictly prohibited. There is also an internal committee to look after students. Sadly, this college doesn't have an enclosed badminton court. Here, Badminton is played as an outdoor game.
Maharaja agrasen college has one of the best infrastructure, every computer lab as well as library well fully air conditioned, there is hostel facility for girls , the college was very clean and hygenic .
I have done b.com hons from maharaja agrasen college and it was a really good experience studying here . The teachers were very educated and highly smart . Most of the professors were PhD's and were really good at their work of teaching . The quality of teaching was really good .
The placement of maharaja agrasen college were really inactive and they did not take any interest in placement of the students as well as there were only a few internship opportunities . The placement cell needs to be sincere about the placements and should start working in the favour of the students .
My course fees was nothing as compared to other big colleges . My fees per year was only 11700 which is nothing to get a bachelors degree . Many colleges charge a lot of money but this college fees structure was really nice and fees was really low .
Campus of maharaja agrasen college was really nice . It has a big ground to play various sports like football , cricket , basketball and many other sports activities were available. There is no problem of attendance , if you are a sports player , the professors won't even ask for the attendance.
Overall Maharaja agrasen college is a really good and one of thr best colleges in Drlhi to get bachelors and even masters degree at a really affordable fees but as far as placements are concerned you have to work very hard and stick to placement cell to get the placements.
The college has good premises with great space and good and clean environment to study and had a great big ground to play various kind of games like football , cricket and labs and library were really well maintained.
The staff , teachers and professors were well trained and educated and tries their best to teach the students some good lessons but that was really not enough because all the education was of theoretically knowledge not useful in practical life .
The placement committee was really bad , then did not care about the students, I was not even allowed to get into the placement cell without reference of any teacher which I felt was not good for any student .
My fees was only 11500 for one year which was nothing for bachelors degree as compared to other big universities but the fees was really worth the money . What would you expect to get a twenty lakhs per annum package after paying 35000 for the whole course .
If you want to complete your degree at low price , you should opt for thi college.
The college infrastructure is overall good, there is a big playground, they have table tennis court, chess and other indoor games too. We also get Wi-Fi in the campus which works fine, there are flats available in the nearby surrounding residential areas, but no idea about the PGs.
The teachers are quite knowledgeable, polite, approachable, and helpful. The overall curriculum is not really updated to the latest developments but the old course structure is followed, though the teachers help to complete the lacking.
The placements are average, there are good recruiters affiliated with the college, but the placed percentage is less. I have seen people registering for other colleges placement cells, the average package is nearly 4 to 5 lacs per annum.
I personally think that all the Delhi Universities Colleges provide for great value for money. Since nowadays educational sector had really become more of a business, in the same phase, I completed my course for less than 50k. That's great value for money!
The campus life is very nice. The college is located in a residential area making it very close to malls, and good fast food joints. One can enjoy their free time in the nearby complex market, they have really good Chinese food.
The college is quite good which includes it's infrastructure as well as the education. They have everything including laboratories, smart classes and much more. There ate much more things to do in the college
The academics are quite good. And yes the curriculum is updated to the latest version of the academic. The teachers are quite understanding and they help us in Every segment as well as the problems we face.
There is a good placement team that will help you getting placed. You just need to get in touch with the placement team and they will provide you suitable job or internship offers which can help you to grow!
My course fees was quite low and budget friendly.
The campus life is quite awesome and exciting.
You should surely visit the campus and think about getting admission here.
The infrastructure is overall good. There are badminton and basketball court, the ground is large. The quality of food in canteen is good. The classroom and laboratories are well maintained and equipped. Proper hygiene is provided but there is a need to improve the washrooms and clean drinking water facilities.
The college follows curriculum of Delhi University. The professors are well experienced and supportive. Teachers are always ready to guide you and discuss the doubts weekly but I think more practical learning should be adopted.
The placements here are average. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, Unacademy etc. If you score good there are high chances that you will be placed. The average package offered here is 10 LPA. I think college should provide more opportunities to students.
If you want to study in a good college with decent study material you can take admission in this college. I got the worth. The average cost for courses is around 10k to 15k per year. But the quality of education is amazing and you will gain a lot of knowledge.
This college gave me many memories. Campus is good and the crowd is great. There are many societies in this college you can take part in any as per your interest. The location is very good. The nearest metro station is Trilokpuri Sanjay lake.
The college's infrastructure is good and has hygienic classrooms, a large library, and sports center is okay. On the other hand hostel are not that good. Canteen is also pretty clean and the food offered is also good . The WiFi is only available in the library , and the places near library. The sports ground is also pretty huge and it's always fun to Play vollyball there.
I am studying B.Sc physical science in Maharaja Agrasen College,Delhi and i chose this subject because I want to pursue masters in chemistry. The teachers are very helpful and they try understand everything from basic which is pretty helpful. The curriculum is also up to date and but there not all of the recent developments in the field of chemistry in our curriculum. This course is pretty good for studying and for career also .
The placement are not good they are great. Many companies from India and abroad too offers placements to us . Average salary package offered is 650000 per annum . And the highest salary package was 1000000 and it was from BA(hons.)English . Our college is also supportive towards students, they provide counseling to the final year students so that they can be confident when they are giving interviews.
My course costs 34000 per year because I am in DU . And i feel it's fully value for money because the qualities that the college gives with taking this much fees is just incredible. And more than that the teachers are very qualified they try to teach us their subjects in such a way that it becomes simple to understand and we feel confident about it. Auditorium is like movie theatre but is bigger than the real movie theatre.
My college campus is huge and the buildings are well maintained . The best feature is lift system being everywhere. There is a huge number of strat pigeons living on the campus buildings and this is the worst feature that they won't do anything about it. Students are very social, and teaching staff is great except some , and the support staff is also good because they are very humble to everyone. The location in which my college is located is very great and very safe . It can handle emergency too.
If you are interested to take addmission in this college then please you should. Everything here is as good as some private colleges and plus you can also Excel in many things other than studying, like sports, dancing, music, acting, debating etc .
Yes, the infrastructure was new and facilities were up to the mark. We had working wifi, labs, libraries, hostels etc. The living spaces were also clean and food was hygienic. We also had facilities for PWD people.
I studied BA hons political science. Quality of teaching 4/5. The DU curriculum is same for all the colleges and is redundant in nature. It needs to be updated that would help students to become job ready.
For courses of social sciences, options of placements were limited. They need to focus on students studying in such courses from the lens of placements also and not just academic options/ higher studies.
Being a public college, DU's cost per year was highly economical. It was somewhere around 11k per semester. And yes,its worth the money because of the exposure it provides + brand value.
Campus life- great. Being a DU college, one can go to other DU colleges and can enjoy all the benefits of various colleges. Maharaja Agrasen College being an off campus college had its own pros and cons. But overall, it was good. Location- not that good and not safe in night as it's a little secluded.
Best infrastructure in delhi university. Very spacious and modern infrastructure. It gives an illusion of a mall rather than a college. Proper ventilated classrooms and corridors are found only in maharaja agrasen college.
Teachers are very good and the way of teaching is so simple that anybody can learn easily and quickly they are very corporative and friendly. Every teacher have a good nature that nobody can br hesitate toh ask something.
There are good chances of placement of every individual concerning with no backs at all. Every year the placement rate is soo good that many MNC's came and hire students from my college and students also give their effort in finding best placement within the college.
The cost of my course is Rs,12000/- per year and yes it is value for money. Excellent infrastructure, good placements and top class faculty makes it a worth to join. If get an opportunity to join the college, don't miss it.
College campus is good with many hang out spots to chill. The college have mini gymnasium, playrooms, college ground which have a football court, volley ball court, basketball court and cricket court etc. Canteen is also a hangout place were most of the student spends time. Campus surrounding have a natural atmosphere with much greenery.
In 2013 , Maharaja Agrasen College was awarded the best college award. College has consistently found a place in the ranks of best colleges in the country by NIRF,India Today for the last four years
Best infrastructure in delhi university. Very spacious and modern infrastructure. It gives an illusion of a mall rather than a college. Proper ventilated classrooms and corridors are found only in maharaja agrasen college.
It has one of the best faculties for commerce students. The curriculum is being updated very often for students to keep them on their toes all the time. And also preparing them for the world after college.
The placement cell of the college is very good. Often you're placed a year before you passout. The also provide really great internship opportunities which you can convert into full time roles afterwards.
10000 per year
Hi dear candidate,
The MAIMS college in Rohini, Delhi does NOT offer diploma in TV programme, it offers BJMC and PGDM instead. The admission process in MAIMS is via IPUCET or CUET exam score and merit list.
You can look for other colleges in Dehi for diploma in TV like:
AIMC, RK Film and Media Academy and Maharaja Agrasen College.
In Maharaja Agrasen College (DU) the admission is via CUET which has already been conducted and results have also been declared.
