Maharaja Institute of Technology Thandavapura is a leading engineering school. The institute was created in 2016 by a group of distinguished individuals known for their leadership in the fields of science, engineering, and technology. MITT is authorised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in New Delhi. MIT Thandavrpura is affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi and is acknowledged by the Karnataka government
The B.Tech programmes offered by the MITT are B.Tech Civil Engineering, B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering and B.Tech Artificial Intelligence. While admission to MBA programmes will be determined by GMAT/Karnataka PGCET/KMAT, admission to B.Tech programmes will be determined by COMEDK UGET/KCET entrance exams.
The MITT placement cell connects students with industry demands and offers training. The cell offers programmes that help all students improve their soft skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication abilities.
A stable placement record was maintained by Maharaja Institute of Technology Thandavapura (MITT) for the 2019-23 batch, where around 105 students were placed out of 221 eligible students.

College Infrastructure is good facilities are good they will always help the students whenever they doubts.Classrooms, laboratories, libraries all are good and wifi connections are there and smart boards facilities are there in every classroom and all are well maintained.
