    Shri Maharaja Ranjit Singh Khalsa Technical College, established in 2001, is one of the technical institution of Punjab in Bathinda. This is a co-educational college affiliated to a university It offers different programmes in the area of computers, business and commerce stream. Sri Guru Gobind Singh College. The college is situated in Bathinda city and near to Khalsa Senior Secondary School This is the advantage of the college that students from any corner of Bathinda can join this college easily. The college has 180 students at the current population to ensure it has a small population that will enable development of the personality of the students alongside improvement of academic standards.

    The college has well-equipped facilities for learning delivered with a passion to offer the best to the students. The institution boasts of functional laboratories for a variety of disciplines that students from different disciplines may require in practice. The IT infrastructure is particularly outstanding and has composed of two computer laboratories equipped with the latest installations, namely, Windows XP Professional, C, C++, and Java. These labs are for the regular curriculum as well and also offer the students an opportunity to tackle business problems, making it more of a practical approach to learning. At the college also there is a library with good accommodation area comprising of reading room with reference-books, magazines, journals, daily newspapers, etc. 

    Maharaja Ranjit Singh Khalsa Technical College has five full-time courses in four degrees all together. These are three bachelors, namely, Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Commerce honours and two masters programmes, which are Master of Science in information Technology and Master of Science in computer science.
