MIHE stands for Maharashtra Institute of Higher Education, Jabalpur and it was established in 2011. This affiliated college is in Jabalpur, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, which has been building careers for a decade. Having a land area of 1 acres, MIHE has designed a compact campus that has accommodated a wide category of programmes to meet the growing demands in higher learning. At present, the enrolment of the institute is 499 and the institute provides its service with the help of total 13 faculties. These include 6 courses in total taught under 4 programmes of commerce, management, and arts, all of which show that MIHE is dedicated in providing quality education.

It boasts of offering the best environment for learning through the many facilities that are installed today. This fully-equipped library centralises the delivery of knowledge to student’s in form of multiple information resources. In light of this, MIHE has developed teaching laboratories for the departments in order to enhance practical learning through appropriate technology. The college makes provisions for students’ health through a health centre with first aid facilities. To meet the competition of the new age digital world, MIHE has a very good IT structure for the students that enables them to use updated technologies of their education. It also has the accommodation space for sport facilities in order to ensure the physical and mental balance between the youngsters. For cultural and academic performances, the college has an adequate and spacious hall to enable the students to have an active campus life.

MIHE has a good variety of full-time courses to fit and fulfil a range of educational needs as well as vocational expectations. Currently, the institute has an academic portfolio which comprises six courses cut across the undergrad and post graduate levels. At the undergraduate level, different programmes are BBA, B.Com., B.Com. with Computer Application, B.Com. with Tax Procedure and Practice, etc. Apart from this for students who had the dream of continuing with their education, the institution provides for a Master of Commerce (M.Com).
