Maharashtra Institute of Higher Education, Jabalpur Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Maharashtra Institute of Higher Education(MIHE) is an affiliated college catering to courses in commerce, management, and humanities. In its admission process, the institute is trying its best to entertain a diverse range of educational needs and vocational expectations of students in a student-friendly way. MIHE offers six courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels with an intake of 499 students.

Eligibility criteria vary, mainly depending on the course that a candidate wants to avail. For example, generally, for undergraduate courses, students must have passed their 10+2 from a recognized board. The qualification to be pursued with Mcom would require to have a confirmed bachelor's degree.

Application Process

For MIHE, the application process is inevitably projected as simple as student-centric, the following steps may come into practice:

1. Application form Collection: Prospects could probably download the same from the official website or may need to make a personal visit to the campus.

2. Proper Filling of the Application Form: The mandatory details to be in proper form filled solemnly by the aspirant.

3. Documents Needed: Normally, apart from school certificates and mark sheets for Class X and XII, the following documents may be required:

• Charcertifigate (not less than six months old)
• Conductcertificate/full Academic-based Character Certificate(leaving all negative sentence) of the students from the last school attended
• NOC from Employer for working parents of the student
• Admission from the school/Relieving Certificate
• Migration Certificate
• Passport-sized photographs
• Any other relevant certificates or documents specified by the institution

4. Submitting the application: Complete application forms, along with all the necessary documents, should be submitted at the office of the admission committee within the stipulated time.

5. Application fee: Applicants are also required to pay the application fee in due time. Amount and modes could vary and shall be cross-checked with the institute for any additions to the statement of theirs.

6. Admission Confirmation: After going through the applications, the result could reveal the names of selected candidates. Candidates offered admission will have to complete formalities, including payment of admission fee, verification of documents, etc.

7. Orientation: They (newly admitted students) might be asked to attend an orientation program where they can be acquainted with the school's facilities, rules, and academic requirements and otherwise.

Degree wise Admission Process

BBA: Admission to the aforementioned program is based on 10+2 percentage focusing on business studies-related subjects. 

B.Com: Consequent to B.Com (Hons.) all B.Com programs are filled with much information. Such programs target students with a career focus on business and finance. Admission would require at least 50 percent to 70 percent in 10+2 with a liberal concern again toward commerce as a subject.

M.Com: For Postgraduation, MIHE caters to the M.Com program. To qualify for this is the norm if you have done your graduation in commerce or in any related field. Equal weightage also on the UG scorecard of the candidate might be given in the admission process. 

BA: MIHE also features a BA program, designed for students wanting to speciallize in humanities and social sciences. It is the performance in 10+2 and the weight of subjects related to the specialized concern in arts that eventually become criteria for admission into this program.
