This institute was founded in 1997 by Maharishi Arvind Shiksha Mandal and is popularly known as MAISM, which stands for Maharishi Arvind Institute of Science Management. This affiliated college, recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, has been in the capacity of nurturing the future generation for more than twenty-one years. MAISM is established on a comparatively limited 2-acre land and encompasses a wide spectrum of programmes in scientific and managerial fields. The institute has a total strength of 1101 students and 15 faculties, which proves the institute has a proper student-faculty ratio of 73:1, implying effective student learning.

MAISM has pride in its highly developed physical facilities meant for improving the learning aspects. The campus for instance, offers an air-conditioned classroom with smart boards and LCD projectors, enhancing interaction. Under the section of the library, the institute has books more than 18000, journals more than 50 of national and international standard and 15 newspapers.
