Maharishi Institute of Management was established in India under the auspices of Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan, a society registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan manages 150 Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools with around 90,000 students. These are public schools designed according to the curriculum of the Central Board of Secondary Education.

MIM Indore was established in India in 1995 to provide the future managers of India with the latest principles, practices and technologies of modern management from around the world.

MIM courses include in the field of Management and Computer Science as per the following details; BBM, B.Com, BCA, PGDM, BBA, BCA, B.Ed, BP Ed, MBA, MCA, B.Ed., PGDM, and MBA. Maharishi Institute of Management has signed an MoU with Maharishi University of Management, IOWA USA to jointly conduct an International MBA Program. The MIM offers both full-time and part-time programme.

Candidates who completed a 10+2 (Class 12) in any discipline (For BCom: Commerce) with 50% of marks in a recognized board/ institute are eligible to apply for UG admission. Candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field in a recognized university/college are eligible to apply for PG admission. To get MIM Indore admission, candidates can visit the appropriate institute and fill out and submit the application form.

Each MIM campus is designed to facilitate in-depth study of the art of management with state-of-the-art computer technology, software, and multimedia. The MIM facilities include the internet, a library along with the latest management and computer-related books/ journals and computer labs.

The MIM placement cell offers a well-received corporate program of natural law-based management for executives - the Maharishi Corporate Development Program (MCTP). In recent years, executives of many of India's dynamic fortune companies have introduced MCDP for their executives and employees.
