    Mahatma Gandhi College of Law was started in the year 1990 in the city of Hyderabad, which is part of the newly formed State of Telangana. Seated in Siri Nagar Colony, this affiliated college has been nurturing the future legal eagles for the last three decades. Recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI), the college offers a number of specialised law courses to meet various students’ needs. With a total student intake of 1641 and a total faculty of 53, the institution accommodates legal education conveniently.

It offers seven unique courses, which consist of four degrees and offer degrees. These comprise the 3-year LLB, the LLB (Hons), the integrated BA-LLB, BBA-LLB, and B.Com-LLB of five years each. For those who want even more specialisation, the college provides LLM programmes in Constitutional Law and Corporations Law, which are taught in Australia. The cumulative approved admission capacity concerning all the offered courses is 940 students, which provides evidence of the institution’s ability to develop a vast number of legal specialists annually.

    The admission procedure in the Mahatma Gandhi College of Law is more or less competitive in view of the fact that the college takes admission mostly through the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET).
