Mahatma Gandhi Mission's College of Engineering and Technology (MGM CET–Mumbai) was founded in the year 1986. It is among the best engineering colleges in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The institute is AICTE-approved and offers different engineering programs. Sprawled across a 2.73-acre campus, MGM CET Mumbai caters to a total student enrolment of 2,313 and a strong faculty base of 134.
MGM CET Mumbai offers a wide array of facilities to support student life. The infrastructure includes a health center, well equipped with first aid. The college library consists of more than 25,000 volumes, i.e., books, journals, and periodicals. This college has sports facilities for cricket, football, volleyball, table tennis, and carom. The college also equipped with modern IT infrastructure, laboratories, and spacious canteens that provide nutritious meals in a clean environment. The College of Engineering and Technology (MGM CET), Navi Mumbai, is famous for its various engineering courses at bachelor's and master's levels. Admission procedures of MGM CET are an exhaustive way of sifting through deserving candidates for various programs on offer. Admission processes into the MGM CET include Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) into various engineering and technology programs in the state of Maharashtra. The MHT CET for the academic year in question probably was held on April 8, 2025, online, with regard to the PCB group (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
As a rule, a candidate for the undergraduate programs would be made eligible for admission if he/she passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects (confirm with admission office on eligibility). Separate qualifying criteria are likely to be fixed for respective program categories of applicants. Note that MGM CET provides reservations as per the Government of Maharashtra norms. Usually, the admission procedure will start after the announcement of MHT CET results. Candidates who qualify in the entrance examination will then go through a centralized admission process conducted by the state authorities. Allotment of seats will finally depend upon the candidate's merit in the MHT CET, his/her prior academic achievements, and availability in the preferred program.
Application Process
The normal procedure for applications for admission into MGM CET would have the following steps:
1. Register and appear for the MHT CET examination. The MHT CET examination has been tentatively fixed for 8th April 2025, for the coming academic year.
2. After the MHT CET results are out, eligible candidates will apply for the central admission process conducted by state authorities.
3. Fill up the online application form for MGM CET giving accurate personal and academic information.

6. Counseling sessions in which candidates will be allotted seats based on their MHT CET rank, preferences, and availability of seats.

Admission Procedure (program-wise)
B.E.: MGM-CET is offering different B.E. programs namely Computer Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and Data Science. Admissions into these programs are usually on the basis of the MHT CET scores. The total intake of the institute for the various B.E. programs is 630 with Computer Engineering being the highest intake of 180 seats.
M.E.: MGM CET is granting the M.E. degree for Chemical Engineering, Structural Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering. No clear information regarding M.E. admissions has been received, but one could assume it to be based on GATE scores or a university entrance exam, followed by counselling.

College has perfect equipment and facilities for the betterment of the students a pleasant cleanliness is maintained in the classroom for study . The corridor of the college is very well maintained as it is cleaned frequently
