Mahatma Phule Mahavidyalaya, Ahmedpur which is also known as MPM Ahmedpur was established in the year 2000 by the Kisan Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Udgir. MPM courses are offered in a total of one programme in the disciplines of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences at the undergraduate level in the BA degree courses. MPM Ahmedpur admissions to the said undergraduate BA degree courses are done on the basis of marks of the 12th standard obtained by the candidates. MPM Ahmedpur college has been accredited by the National Assessments and Accreditations Council (NAAC). 

The Mahatma Phule Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated college of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded (SRTMUN Nanded). MPM campus size is approximately 7.45 acres and the on campus MPM infrastructure consists of academic buildings, administrative blocks, auditoriums, library, hostels, and more available on the college campus. The institute also offers other MPM facilities like hostels for students, cafeteria, sports facilities, IT infrastructure, medical clinic, gymnasium and more on the MPM Ahmedpur campus.
