Mahrshi Institute of Education and Research is an affiliated college which was set up in 2008 at Udaipur in Rajasthan. This institute was established and recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offers teacher education only. Located at 11-12, South Sunderwas, Udaipur, at present, the institute is serving 192 students and offers a faculty of 12 members. The institute has only one programme, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)., with an approved annual capacity of one hundred students, which shows its specialization on the production of competent teachers.

To ensure that students are able to get the best out of their times at the institute, the former has a host of facilities that seek to improve the learning environment for the latter. The core of these facilities is a rich library of books which occupies about 7000 reading copies on the various themes of the political science and the practical social studies, ethic, education, general knowledge, etc. This can easily hold a maximum of 50 students, or at least many at once to work in peace in a resourceful setting. Therefore, as part of educational facilities, the institute has designated Science Laboratory, Psychology Lab, and Educational Technology Lab to facilitate practical learning of the students.

Mahrshi Institute of Education and Research at present offers only one full time programme namely the two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
