Mamata Academy of Medical Sciences, Bachupally Admission

Mamata Academy of Medical Sciences, Bachupally (MAMS) is among the best and well-reputed medical colleges of Hyderabad in Telangana. It is an institution that recently came into existence. For high-quality medical education, MAMS offers undergraduate as well as postgraduate programs. The admission process at MAMS is a well-defined method made to select the most deserving candidates for its medical courses. The institute follows a merit-based admission system for selection, which relies heavily on the national-level entrance examinations for student selection. For undergraduate admissions, MAMS uses the scores obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). This exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) every year for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in India. The postgraduate admissions in MAMS are based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate (NEET PG) scores.

The eligibility criteria for seeking admission in MBBS at MAMS include having passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. The candidate should also complete the minimum age requirement and clear the NEET-UG exam with a score above the cutoff fixed by the authorities. For MS postgraduates like MD Pathology and MD Community Medicine, candidates are required to possess the MBBS degree from recognized institutions before they qualify to sit for the NEET PG examination. The basis of selection is through the performance of such a candidate in NEET PG and the subsequent process of counseling.
