Mangalam Institute of Management, Ranchi, was set up in 2007 as a discrete institute situated in Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand. This co-educational school is located at Hardag, about 12 km from Ranchi on Khunti road and was established in the year 2000 to provide management talent to the country.

Mangalam Institute of Management is part of the Mangalmay Group of Institutions, located primarily in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and New Delhi. The group’s management and technology programmes are affiliated with Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, and Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCS University), Meerut.  Since it started delivering its services to the students, Mangalam Institute of Management has aimed to provide special facilities to the students required for effective learning. The institute conducts a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme, which helps students to develop the competencies that are necessary in the contemporary business environment.
