Focus

Thorough understanding of basic knowledge in biotechnology, through lectures and hands-on training, culminating in a research project work. Courses covered include different areas of biotechnology including genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, bioinformatics, biophysics, and business studies.

Eligibility Criteria

Indian Boards :

Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Biology, Chemistry, English, and Physics/ Biotechnology / Mathematics/ any other Life Sciences subject as optional subject, from a recognized Board with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Biology, Chemistry and Physics / Biotechnology / Mathematics / any other Life Sciences subject

A level -

Biology, Chemistry and Biotechnology / Mathematics / Physics / any other Life Science subject in ‘A’ Levels and
English at ‘AS’ level OR Minimum 5 passes at IGCSE/ GCSE or GCE ‘O’ level examinations including English
Minimum requirement is an average of ‘C’ grade in Chemistry, Biology, and optional subject

IB -

Biology, Chemistry, English, and Physics / Biotechnology / Mathematics or any other Life Science subject
IB Diploma or IB Certificate with minimum average of 4 points for Biology, Chemistry and Physics / Biotechnology / Mathematics or any other Life Science subject with overall minimum 24 points
Minimum points required in a subject are 3 or above
Minimum 3 subjects in HL and 3 subjects in SL
Minimum two Science subjects in HL
Third Science subject and English can be at HL or SL
