Maria College of Engineering and Technology (MCET) is newly formed college in the year 2008 which is situated at kanyakumari, Tamilnadu. This is an AICTE affiliated college extending over 10 acres and imparting engineering and management education. Thus MCET continues to admit 880 students in total while its faculty count is 133 which make the environment favourable to excel in academics. 

Maria College of Engineering and Technology has most modern infrastructure and amenities for its students and teaching staff. Hostel facilities: The college has house for boys and girls separately having accommodation of 600 boys and 300 girl candidates respectively. Facilities of these hostels include.mu.solar water heater, study halls, internet café and the likes. The college library is a storehouse of knowledge, presently having electronic facilities to a range of Textual/ Full-Text & Bibliographical databases, e- Journals & E- Books etc. Groups who prefer this category are privileged to have gym to help them with their different workouts. MCET also focuses on the co curricular development of students with well equipped sports such as tennis, basketball, badminton, volley ball and cricket ground.

Maria College of Engineering and Technology has provided extensive course options to suit different academic disciplines. The institute offers 15 full-time programmes in which under graduate as well as post graduate courses are offered.
