The Markaz Law College, Kozhikode is an affiliated college, set up in 2014 at Markaz Knowledge City, Kozhikode, Kerala. Though established in 1976, this relatively young institution has carved a niche for itself in legal education and provides two separate programmes in law. Affiliated to the Bar Council of India (BCI), the college for legal education is located in a 125 acre campus, to enable students to study in a serene surroundings. Markaz Law College offers education to the intending students by involving a faculty comprising of 17 dedicated professionals.
Markaz Law College has also developed a number of facility to enable the students get the best in their learning process. This centre has a well stocked library that offers text books, reference books, reports of laws, journals and periodicals as well as e-journals. Then resource center is central to the area of law and jurisprudence. Another evidence of the college’s policy of providing practical legal education is its modern moot court complex. As for the practical training here, students are required to complete moot court sessions, and attend regional, state or national level moot court competitions, which gives them excellent professional practice. Facing up for the growth in the digital platforms, Markaz Law College has equipped itself with good IT facilities where students can get the computer related technological skills which are very much required in law profession these days. In this respect, for the college developmental goal, it offers special sporting facilities for development of physical aspect in addition to education.
Markaz Law College provides comprehensive curricular that seek to address the needs of students intending to practice law. The college currently offers two full-time degree programmes. A three-year programme for graduates in other fields who wish to studying law and a five-year full time programme for students proceeding to university from high school with a BBA-LLB programme.

Degree wise Admission Process
BBA LLB Integrated: BBA LLB Integrated program at Markaz Law College is designed for five years full-time course for in between secondary school and university. The approved intake for this program in the college is 60 sets. The admission process follows the 50-50 split between government allotment and management quota as mentioned earlier. Candidates should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination and must qualify in the KLEE to apply for this course.
LLB: An LLB program spans three years for non-law graduates intending to study law. The LLB has a permitted intake of 60 seats, just like the BBA LLB program. The admission process is actually the same as that of the BBA LLB program: government allotment takes care of 50% of the seats, with 50% management quota based on merit. The candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in any subject and qualify in the KLEE to take admission for this course.
