Markaz Law College, Kozhikode Admission Process

Markaz Law College, Kozhikode is an affiliated college in Kerala located in the beautiful Markaz Knowledge City. The students are trained by Bar Council of India (BCI) for comprehensive legal education programs. The admission process at Markaz Law College will be fair and transparent as per the standards set by the Government of Kerala. The major mode for admissions is Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE). It is this KLEE which plays a vital role in the admission of candidates to different law colleges in Kerala. In fact, every year, the KLEE examination is scheduled to be conducted, where the candidates have to qualify to get admission to Markaz Law College.

To get an admission into both BBA LLB Integrated or LLB courses, the admission procedure usually goes like this:

  1. 50% of the seats are filled up either by the Government or by a designated authority based on merit/entrance examination results and reservation principles followed by the Government of Kerala.
  2. The Commissioner of Entrance Examination will allot students to these 50percent seats till the final allotment process is completed.
  3. Remaining 50% of seats are filled by the administration on the basis of merit.

This dual approach ensures a balance between government-allotted seats and management quota, giving opportunities to students with different financial backgrounds.
