For JoSAA Counselling you have to be very careful while filling in the choices.

Few points I would like to mention which might prove helpful for you. Begins below -

1. Do not fill unnecessary choices or Colleges/Branches which you might not get in any of the seven rounds.

Since you are not in top 20 Percentile then you are not elligible for NITs,CFTIs or IIITs.Also your rank is too low for goverment engineering college.You should look for others engineering entrance examination.

Your rank seems not enough for goverment engineering college.For NITs,GFTIs, or IIITs rank should be under 40k in general category.But your rank is too low for such Colleges.You shouldn't expect something big from this rank.

Hello student,

Although we are not eligible in the top 20 percentile, you must not prevent yourself from registering in the josaa counselling. As you belong to OBC category, you may get a seat in government funded colleges in which the seat allotment is done via josaa counselling.
