If your score is greater than cut off score then you are elligible for josaa counseling .
If you are from general category then you are not elligible . If you are from other category then you are elligible for counseling .

Can I correct my Category from General to EWS during JoSAA Counselling?

Hello Anoop,

No, you can't change it further. The details you were given during jee exam is the final. Already they have give chance for two times to change it. But now you can't change it during the counselling. You can get seat only under general category.

Hey,

The josaa counseling starts only when all the altered results are declared. Also to get admission in NIT 's through josaa, you need to be in the top 3-5 percentile. Being in the top 20 percentile won't fetch you any college if you are a general candidate.

It is yet to be declared but as ler standards generally JoSAA counselling starts after the second week of June after declaration of Jee advanced results.

Students are required to register, pay counselling fee and fill their priorities for colleges.

I think you can get into josaa but only for lower status IIT and NIt that also only for low popularity branches like civil.
