Dear Mehak, Agroha Medical College is affliated to Pt. B.D.Sharma University of Health Sciences. In 2018, under State Quota, 506 marks secured a seat in this college under General Category. That was the cut off. However this is 2018 data. Having said that, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. With 465 marks, it is difficult to get a seat in this college because cut offs have gone too high this year and unfortunately your marks do not make it to the cut offs.

Hello aspirant!

The minimum marks obtained by a sc category student to get an admission in Maulana Azad medical are 40% of the total marks. Last year (through NEET) cut off was 246, so this year it will vary slightly higher or lower than this.

Feel free to ask.

Best of luck!

Hello,

You are not eligible for 15% seats rather than you are eligible for 85% seats and private institutes. Good Luck.

Hello Blair,
There are many private medical colleges who offer mbbs seats through NRI qouta. To name a few:-
  • Kasturba medical college, Manipal
  • Saveetha medical college, Chennai
  • Yenepoya medical college, Mangalore
  • Shri Ramachandra medical college and research institute, Chennai
  • Vinayaka missions medical college and hospital, Karaikal
  • Dr. DY patil medical college, Navi Mumbai
I hope this helps.

Hello dear candidate.

First of all, I would like to congratulate you on your score.

If you are a holder of a domicile certificate, and are applying through state Quota, there are high possibilities that you might get admission into the college you wish.

Dear Aspirant,

Both options are good, however, MAMC, Delhi is a better one. This is primarily because of two main reasons. MAMC is a quite old and reputed institution in medical line, moreover, other than AIIMS Delhi, no other AIIMS is able to mark their presence so significantly.

Another important reason in DELHI. MAMC, because it is located in DELHI, it will give you better exposure and a good competitive environment rather than Raipur. If you want to prepare for NEET-PG, you could find various coachings and other resources in your city(DELHI) and could utilize them while doing your MBBS.

Hope this helps.

Comment your doubts. if any.

Thank You.

Hello Kavita

First of all congratulations for your result.

2018 Maulana Azad Medical Neet cut off for All India quota:

General:

Neet Rank-62

Neet Score-662

As 85% for seats in Delhi Neet Medical Colleges are reserved for state quota and only 15% are reserved for all India quota so the cut off is usually very high.

You have scored very well but due to very high cut off in Maulana Azad Medical College you can't be able to secure a seat in this college.

But you can go for other government Medical Colleges you will definitely get admission in them.

You can check last year's Neet cut off using this link:

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off/amp

Also you can predict your Neet score using this link:

So I hope you find this helpful

Thank you

Good luck.

Hello Madhav,

If we go by the last year results then you have almost no chance of getting Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi.

Acc. to last year's allotment list, the last candidate to get MAMC under ST category and with Delhi domicile had an AIR 106331. Although you are eligible for DU INTERNAL quota but stil you have a very rare chance of getting into this college.

I hope this helps.

All the best for the future!!

Hello Sharanya,

First of all congratulations for such a good rank in NEET.

As you are from Delhi you should definitly go for Delhi state qouta instead of All India Quota as it'll bring you a step closer to chances of getting seat in Maulana Azad Medical Colege.

Going by the last year data of 1st round seat allotment, for general category

  • AIQ- 22AIR
  • DU INTERNAL- 1170ai8r

these are the last rank (general category) to get admission in this college.

Hence you should go for MAMC from DU as your first choice to secure youself a seat.

Talking about the fees structure, their is no as such a difference in the fees for students getting admitted through AIQ and through DU qouta.

I hope this helps.

All the best for the future!!
