Maya College of Agriculture and Technology, Dehradun, or MCAT, was established in the year 2013 as one of the best agricultural colleges. It is built on a 5-acre campus on NH-72 near Selaqui, Dehradun; this affiliated college offers 7 courses leading to 2 degree levels with specialisations in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, and food technology. The total enrolment of students in this institute comes to 451, with a backup of 19 faculty members. Being a co-educational institute, MCAT offers a diverse learning environment to students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Agricultural Sciences.

MCAT is affiliated with Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand.  Maya College of Agriculture and Technology has many modern facilities to enrich the learning environment of its students. There is a well-equipped, Wi-Fi-enabled library available 24/7 with a huge collection of reference books and digital e-library access to international journals. The entire campus is Wi-Fi-enabled, and the internet services can be accessed from anywhere, even from the hostels. The admission procedure in Maya College of Agriculture and Technology is on the basis of merit and through state/ central university counselling.
