About Mission College of Pharmacy, Varanasi

Mission College of Pharmacy, situated at Varanasi, UP, was established in 2017 as one of the renowned colleges providing education in the field of pharmacy. This affiliated college is recognised in the field of pharmacy. Approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the institute offers two courses, B.Pharma and D.Pharma. The total enrolment capacity in both the programme is 120 students, for which Mission College of Pharmacy has a vision to produce professional personnel in the field of pharmacy.

A number of facilities exist at Mission College of Pharmacy to complement the learning of the students. The centre library with the best book-bank facility contains books, periodicals and journals, theses, microfilms, compact discs, etc. Modern laboratories extend theoretical concepts with practice, giving students exposure to numerous fields of pharmacy. The institute also has two different hostels, each for boys and girls, which has a culture of learning and developing oneself. Sports enthusiasts can make use of several outdoor games like volleyball, cricket, and badminton, while indoor games include carrom, chess, and table tennis. Some of the IT facilities at the college consist of a fully air-conditioned computer centre measuring 1600 sq. ft. with Core 2 Duo workstations, IBM high-end servers, and constant internet connection that uses the college’s broadband connection that allows up to 2 Mbps internet connection 24/7. 

As of now, Mission College of Pharmacy provides two programmes in the area of pharmacy. The B.Pharma is a four-year undergraduate programme with a total enrolment capacity of 60 students On the other hand, the D.Pharma is a two-year diploma course with a total enrolment capacity of 60 students. These two courses are development to offer students with full knowledge and skills in the pharmaceutical sciences. The total student admission limit for these programmes is one hundred and twenty in order to assure quality delivery of the academic programmes through controlled enrolment.

Mission College of Pharmacy, Varanasi, is a prestigious college that provides pharmacy education. Application Process

Application procedure for Mission College of Pharmacy, Varanasi, is as follows:

1. Entrance Exam: The applicants who are appearing for B.Pharma need to appear for the UPCET entrance test. The dates of the examination and the UPCET application process need to be adhered to as per the guidelines published by the conducting authority.

2. Submission of Application Form: Once the results of the entrance exam are declared, shortlisted students are eligible to apply to Mission College of Pharmacy. The institution will also have an application form to be filled in due course.

3. Document Submission: Documents to be submitted by the students are:

  • 10th and 12th mark sheets
  • UPCET score card (in case of B.Pharma)
  • Date of birth proof
  • Category certificate (if the candidate belongs to SC/ST category)
  • Such other documents as are mentioned in the college

4. Merit List: The merit list shall be prepared by the college from entrance exam scores and such other factors as are decided by the institution.

5. Counselling and Seat Allotment: Candidates shortlisted can be invited for counselling where seats will be allotted on the basis of merit and preference.

6. Fee Payment: The selected candidates are to pay fees as required to finalize the admission procedure.

7. Verification of Documents: The college shall verify all documents presented before finalizing the admission.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Pharma
The B.Pharma course of Mission College of Pharmacy is an undergraduate four-year course with a total intake of 60 students. It is admitted on the merit of performance of the candidate in the UPCET (Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test). The candidate willing to apply must have completed his/her 10+2 studies with Science as a mandatory subject with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as major subjects. The total fee for the entire course of B.Pharma is Rs. 302,000.

D.Pharma:
The two-year diploma program D.Pharma takes in 60 students. Although no D.Pharma admission requirements have been mentioned, traditionally it requires 10+2 with science subjects. The aspirants can contact the college for the eligibility criteria and admission procedure to the course of D.Pharma.
