About Modern Education Society's New Law College, Mumbai

Modern Education Society’s New Law College, recognised in 1954, is one of the known legal colleges of India sited in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Located on the west side of Matunga Road Station on Senapati Bapat Marg in Mahim, is this affiliated college which has been producing legal professionals for almost seven decades. The college has been approved by what is known as the Bar Council of India (BCI) which is responsible for seeing to it that the college offers the best legal education as per the standard set here. The faculty for this college comprises of 7 dedicated staffs that include educators in making the institution a professional legal learning institution.

Modern Education Society’s New Law College features a number of amenities that are intended to enrich student’s educational process. At the centre of these is the well-end equipped library which has a good source of comments, treatises, reference, books law reports and journal specialising in legal and related topics. The online and DVD based databases in the library allow the students to update their knowledge base in legal research. To the aspiring litigants, the college has moot court facility to allow the learners to get practical exposure on what happens in the courtroom. Modern Education Society’s New Law College has, at the moment, only one course it provides, the Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB). This full-time degree programme lasts for three years, however, it has been approved to take 240 students which allows the college to maintain an acceptable ratio of students for a teacher.
