The Moga College of Education for Girls Moga was started in the year 2004 and is one of the pioneer women’s college in Punjab. This affiliated college is situated in Ghal Kalan, Moga where this institution has made its place in teacher education. It has recognizes by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and also is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which means that it provides the high quality of education. The college thus has a total enrolment capacity of 235 students and has a total faculty of 21 members which ensures minimal distractions to the intending educators. 

The college has a very many facilities that has been put in place for the improvement of the college learning facilities for the students. Faculty library has modern books needed for the course in addition to serves as a source of information and technology, departmental laboratory consists of practical sessions for the learner. Besides the core academic programs, there is an availability of an auditorium and sports facilities for extracurricular activities as well as general events. First aid services and health enhancement are recognized with a gym and health centre offered to the people. It also boasts of modern facilities such as WIFI connection, computer facilities and a canteen. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education):

Also, the candidates might be required to sit for an entrance test or face any other selection procedure as directed by the policy of the State Government, UT administration, and the corresponding university. The general eligibility usually consists of a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized university. 

M.Ed (Master of Education):
For the M.Ed course, which has an approved intake of 50 seats, the admission procedure is the same as that of B.Ed. Candidates are chosen on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination (in most cases, a B.Ed degree) and/or entrance test. The ultimate choice can also be made on other parameters as decided by the State Government, UT administration, and the university. Potential students must possess a B.Ed degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education):
D.El.Ed programme has 50 seats and is based on an admission procedure as per the State Government and UT administration policies. Admission is done on the basis of merit of marks secured in the qualifying exam (usually 10+2) and/or performance in an entrance test. Any other selection criteria established by the authorities shall also be taken into account in the admission process.
