MRN Ayurvedic Medical College Hospital and Research centre was established in the year 2020; this is one of the youngest institution providing Ayurvedic education in Bagalkot at Karnataka. Located in a large compound occupying 22 acres of land, this affiliated college has been approved by the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) so that the college maintains high standard for Ayurvedic college. As an educational facility with the focus on multi-aspect health care, the institute has a programme and a degree that is known as the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS).

MRN Ayurvedic Medical College Hospital and Research centre has various facilities which ensure that the students have the best environment to improve on what they have learnt. Embedded in these is a bibliography that has a floor area of 1800 sq. ft., and contains more than 8100 copies of books on Ayurveda and other medical systems. The library remains open until 7:00 PM in order to provide enough time for research and study of the students. Further, a separate microbial library of 2300Sq.ft. available with internet Facilities including e-Resources to find out contemporary concepts from the ancient facts of Ayurvedic literature. The college also has several departmental laboratories, well-equipped sports and games facilities, health care facility including first aid, adequate modern and state of art class rooms, sophisticated IT facilities to enhance learning and to equip students with adequate skills.

The Mrn Ayurvedic Medical College Hospital and Research Centre is at present running only one full time course namely the bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery [BAMS]. This is an academic programme spanning six years, and the institute has an approved student intake of 60 students, policies that ensure that the institute maintains the best student to teacher ratios so as to offer the students adequate attention.

The inlet criteria for MRN Ayurvedic Medical College Hospital and Research Centre are basically by passing the NEET which is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.
