About MSM Institute of Ayurveda, Sonipat
Shri Maru Singh Memorial (MSM) Institute of Ayurveda Sonipat is a government college which was established in the year 1973, with a vision to provide education in the Indian system of Medicine (Ayurveda). MSM Institute of Ayurveda Sonipat is recognised by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, Government of India.
MSM Institute of Ayurveda Sonipat is a constituent college of Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Khanpur Kalan. The undergraduate course at MSM Institute of Ayurveda Sonipat is the Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme. The BAMS course is offered for 4 and a half years and followed by a 1-year rotatory Internship. MSM Institute of Ayurveda also offers 2 MD courses in different specialisations, which are MD in Kayachikitsa and MD in Dravyaguna Vigyana. MD courses at MSM Institute of Ayurveda last for 3 years.
The admission to the MSM Institute of Ayurveda BAMS course is entrance-based and requires candidates to clear NEET UG as well as the cutoff. The names of the selected candidates appear on the merit list, which is based on the scores obtained in NEET UG. For MD admissions, candidates will be selected on the basis of the score in the AIAPGET entrance examination.
MSM Institute of Ayurveda Sonipat provides facilities for the students which include hostel accommodation for the students, medical and library services, I.T. infrastructure, a cafeteria, an auditorium, and laboratory facilities.
