Musaliar Institute of Management at Pathanamthitta is an affiliated college with the university established in 2002 at Kerala, India. In its current framework, Musaliar Institute of Management has laid down selection criteria intended for managerial positions. Those interested in applying need to either take the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) or the Kerala Management Admission Test (KMAT Kerala). It involves writing examination commonly known as admission test, followed by interviewing candidates based on their performance on the test and class of degree obtained. The chosen candidates have to undergo a Group Discussion session in order to analyse total behaviour modality, intelligence, interpersonal communication and leadership abilities. This is then complemented by a Personal Interview where the employer comes face-to-face with the candidates using a panel of experts in reviewing the candidate’s communication skills, personality match and overall aptitude for a managerial position.
